Living in the Fishbowl; one swims, one eats, one travels without going anywhere.
Sometimes the Fishbowl is cleaned, sometimes it is a while before the Fishbowl isn't cleaned.
The owner of the fish assumes the fish is happy, for it is fed, the bowl is cleaned, the fish provides visual enjoyment for the owner.
I would equate the fishbowl to life. We are born, we are raised, we grow, we go to school, hopefully we go to college where we are then thrown into a bigger fishbowl and have to deal with other fish who don't have our same life experiences, thought processes, nor the same professionalism as expected, and we are then expected to get along.
There are 6.9 billion people inhabiting this planet; that means 6.9 billion different perspectives and realities, and 6.9 billion fish. Hmmmm...
